Our Diagnostic Center has a cutting edge computed tomography gamma-camera (with the ability to rotate around the examined) by SIEMENS named Symbia Evo Excel Dual Head Angle. This γ-camera, is innovative and ahead of competition, due to 4 main features:

• Real Time Whole Body Autocontour:

Infrared body-contour system, real-time robotic response, for automatic deletion of the patient’s contour eliminating the need for a pre-scanning swipe and thus reducing examination time, applicable to all types of examinations and for use with all types of guides.

• Gantry:

Short length 34.1 cm with large opening 78.3 cm ideal for claustrophobic patients.

• Optimized bed design:

Efficient patient bed with removable table top enables easy access and use of ergonomic patient comfort accessories suitable for all types of examinations. New innovative design for greater patient comfort with maximum loading and lifting weight of 227 kg.

• Flash 3D software to reduce heart test time, full body and general SPECT studies.

All types of Scintigraphy (thyroid, parathyroid, salivary glands, bones, bone marrow, kidney, liver-spleen, myocardial perfusion, pulmonary perfusion-ventricular hemorrhage, detection of inflammatory bowel disease, origin, neuroendocrine tumors with somatostatin receptors, locating sentinel lymph nodes, etc.).
