Through the analysis of hair (scalp and body), we can investigate past periods of substance consumption and simultaneously determine the user’s profile:

• Occasional user
• Daily user, etc.

Scalp hair grows at an average rate of approximately 1 centimeter per month. Thus, every 1 centimeter of hair represents a consumption history of substances for about one month.

METHOD:

• Liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS)
• Gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS)

The above examinations can be conducted for private or judicial use.
